Triumph T160
1st Aug 1975, UK bike with matching numbers and a believed genuine 22,300 recorded mileage.
I have owned this bike for 11 years now and only covered a couple of hundred miles.
The last 8 months I have spent bringing the bike up to standard at significant cost and with many, mostly NOS, parts.
The bike should be ready to MOT and ride, although the front brake is a bit soggy after rebuilding.
Sensible mods include Lucas Rita, Koni rear shocks and Legend downpipes with peashooters which not only improve exhaust flow, you can remove the sump strainer without dismantling!
The bike is not perfect, there are some imperfections to the chrome, the silencer brackets need repainting and the carbs fine tuning (new slides, jets, needles etc)
However, the overall condition is very good.
A dodgy hip and daughter getting married this year means I must sell.
