New Web login facility
We have now added a new feature to our web site where you can have your own account login. This enables you to save your address and contact details as well as an order or a quote. Once you have registered your details, just log in and then create your quote or order. Hit the save cart and orders button. This then puts your parts into a saved page on your account so you can then return to this at a later time and either amend or order the parts. The login also has the added feature that you don’t have to keep filling in your address and delivery details as it is already stored.
I hope that you like the new feature and any constructive feed back you can give me on its operation is appreciated.

Please note that we are now using a new secure web order facility called Sagepay. All orders will be processed in the normal way until you get to the point of entering your card details when you will be redirected to the Sagepay secure web site. You will then enter your details on that website. This is a very secure system and conforms to credit card industry data standard PCI-DSS and is designed to protect your card details from fraud. Alan Overby onboard the LP Williams T150 Rob North competing in 2013 CRMC classic championship. The final standings were 2nd in the Classic Racer Syndicate and 3rd in unlimited capacity class. A very good result and may thanks to Alan and everyone who came along and gave their support.
Triumph Part Number Prefixes Explained
On bikes built before approx 1972, Triumph used a letter to prefix the function group identifier
So a part number may start as T3757 after 1972 this part number would start with a number
So the letter T becomes 57. The new part number is now 57-3757. Where there is a three, two or one digit number after the function identifier, say T23 this becomes 57-0023 as all triumph number after the function group identifier are four figures, just insert a zero for every missing number
The prefixes are as follows
S=21 so S541 become 21-0541
W=37 so W1052 becomes 37-1052
T=57 so T24 becomes 57-0024
D=60 so D3 becomes 60-0003
E=70 so E1335 becomes 70-1335
E1=71 so E1216 becomes 71-0216
F=82 so F1747 becomes 82-1747
F1=83 so F12 becomes 83-0002
H=97 so H1062 becomes 97-1062

Brand new Anti Drain Valve developed for A75 Rocket 3 and X75 Hurricane owners
A new product to compliment our best selling Trident Anti Drain Valve, we have now developed and manufactured a new anti drain valve that replaces the existing oil tank filter on Rocket 3 and Hurricane bikes. The new valve prevents oil seepage into the engine sump as the standard engine anti drain valves are very poor in operation. Simply drain the engine oil tank and remove the old tank filter, replace with the new valve, refill with new oil and run. Full fitting instructions are provided. It is recommended but not imperative that you remove your oil tank and give it a good clean before fitting the valve as well as changing the engine oil filter.

A new book by our very own Les Williams. Priced at a very sensible
The story of Les William’s early days, firstly of his mentor “Bill the Mill” during Les’s apprenticeship as a motor mechanic at Central Garage in Brecon. A story of Bill’s childhood at a working Mill after the First World War. Of his active service in the Second World War and of his days in the Motor trade. Then Les’s own colourful story of the fun packed days of that apprenticeship leading to his love of motorbikes; and in due course his successful career with Triumph.
This book was written as a tribute to his Mentor and all those ordinary working people that shaped Les’s working life. Read of Bill’s hard early days, the dangers of wartime action in North Africa and Italy, but also love and romance, then too tragedy and death, also the interesting descriptions of Motorcars and Lorries and the characters that drove them. Laugh out loud at some of the apprentice’s antics and what they got away with! Then finally for Les’ to get on the train to start another chapter of his working days, the rest is history as they say? A fascinating book written with genuine dedication. And just to explain it is the custom in Wales, to be called by the first name and the name of one’s home. Hence “Bill the Mill” and “Les. Pen y Banc”.

TRIPLE HYDRAULIC CLUTCH CONVERSION
After much waiting and development, we now have available a hydraulic clutch conversion that will fit all Triple models, T160, T150 and R3.
The kit consists of all pipework and fitting plus the Hydraulic cylinders. Full fitting instructions are included. A competent DIY person should be able to fit the kit in about 2hrs. Part number is PSP-005A.

Hi Phil, Tri-spark works fantastically well on the bonnie. After honing barrel and re-ringing etc, the first test runs were disappointing. This was due to the head gasket settling in. When I re-torqued the head and reset the valve clearances (which were about zero) the engine runs like new. To set the carbs, I used a spare spark plug and a jump lead to earth it to the bike and setting the pilot and tickover was quick and simple. Just back from a 45 mile trip and she never missed a beat. I have owned the bike from new (May 1978) 7300 miles on the clock and Tri-spark has been the best thing I’ve added. Most impressed.
70-8817 Pillar studs. Due to a small number of studs not correctly manufactured we have decided to replace with a new type of design. Trispark Dual coils in 6V and 12V
New stock of the TriSpark dual lead coils in both 6 and 12volt version. Very small in size and neat, Will fit into the space of one standard coil. Tri-Spark coils have extra windings using heavier wire and a high grade core for improved spark energy and duration. These coils discharge with a very high voltage so extra care must be taken to always have a spark plug connected to the HT output. Part no TRI-0010 for 6v and TRI-0011 for 12v

VENHILL TRIPLE CLUTCH CABLES
We now have in stock a new shorter version Venhill Featherlight clutch cables for all triples, These are in both UK and US sizes plus the heavy duty type. The cables have been shortened by 5mm on the inner cable due to customer feed back. Venhill will continue to make their own cables to the old length, as these new cables are made exclusivly for us here at LP Williams. Please use the standard part numbers when ordering as all the stock has now been remade to the shorter version

New re introduced product, the LEG-0007 Lifting handle
Fits at the drive side of the bike and is used to lift the bike up onto the centre stand, Folds away very nicely. Anyone who has lifted these bikes knows how heavy they are, Easy to fit , just remove the rear shockabsorber, fit the handle in behind the top shockabsorber bolt, locate the hole for the peg and refit the shockabsorber and mounting bolt, job done. Very usefull piece of kit. Fits T160, T150 and T120 plus possibly many more models. Please note that the handle is designed to be fitted with standard suspension units with open springs and will not fit the type with top shrouds

Are you fed up of poor quality fork oil seals constantly leaking. Due to customer demand we have specificaly imported from Italy the Ariete fork oil seals Part number 97-4001A -T120/T140/T150/T160 Ariete Fork oil Seal kit. The kit contains 2 Ariete seals and a sachet of Ariete fork lubricant. These are new in stock due to customer demand for a better quality seal for conical and disc forks. These seals are specificaly designed to be used for forks and unlike the cheaper version of the 97-4001 these are designed to be used in a situation where the seal is in contact with a tube that moves in an up and downwards motion where the cheaper seal is specificaly designed to be used in a revolving shaft situation and is not designed as a fork seal. Just received in stock, new supply of the long awaited Polished right hand fork leg for twin disc conversion, I can now supply either the fork leg on its own or as a full kit.
The full kit consists of a Polished bottom RH Leg, Four long hub bolts, Two Grimeca calipers. One disc, 2 x sets brake pads and the twin disc braided hose kit incl crossover pipe ( please specify either US or UKbars to get the correct length of hose and model of bike T140, T150 or T160) all studs and caliper mtg bolts plus fork oil seal.
