Please note, The Electric Start Timing Covers are permanently unavailable due to the cost of replacing the mould
We can supply all the nessasary parts if you can supply your own timing cover
The kit includes a solenoid, heavy duty wiring, starter switch and a genuine Lucas starter motor and all gaskets. Please note, also included in the kit is a new nitrided crankshaft gear to replace the original gear and a new modified intermediate shaft to support the sprag gear/intermediate shaft..
The kit will include full fitting instructions and a handlebar mounted starter switch.
Please note that we would recomend fitting an modern digital electronic ignition system that has anti kick back function such as Tri spark. The reason is the manufacturers and the supplier will not entertain any warranty claims for a damaged sprag clutch assembly unless it is a manufacturing defect
The sprag clutches are damaged when an engine is trying to start and kicks back
